THERE is an amaryllis growing on my table
NEXT to this titanium computer
IT says hello with it's wonderful petals
AND its slipper-like anthers
I really did think about taking it outside
RIGHT into the sagebrush
WHERE it would be completely out of place
THEN for the heck of it,
TAKE a photo and show it
TO some local botanists
