so that they say
yes, this is the way
follow and flow through
its all they can do
its seeing the grey
and letting the day
pass by me. inside me
i run, you beside me

like the stinging of change
its unwraveling, ungrowing
and traveling, and groaning
we all start to fade

the first breathe of life
